72 Dodge brave brake parts reference

Recently I got the pleasure of rebuilding my Dad's brakes for his 72' Dodge based Brave.Through trial and error and many parts stores later this is what I used.

The bulk of the parts come from a reputable big truck brake store in Des Moines called City Brake and Import Auto,3018 S.W. 9th Des Moines, Iowa
They deal mainly with Raybestos brand parts.

Wheel cylinders:
WC24955 (Raybestos)
WC24954 (Raybestos)
WC37218 (Raybestos)
WC37219 (Raybestos)

Flexible brake hose:
BH4900 (Raybestos)

Brake pads:
314RR (Raybestos for the front)
358 (Brakebest for the rear from O'Reilly's)

Spring sets:
2243 (NAPA)

I used the Brakebest on the rear because City Brake  had only one set.

A side note........THE PARKING BRAKE WILL HOLD THE CAMPER FROM MOVING.......I don't know if it was the additional wet weather that caused the pad to bond to the braking surface or the thing just froze up but after removing the access plate and tapping I was able to move the drive shaft in neutral.

Oh boy, oh boy.    I feel your pain.   I just went rounds on Walter's brakes & here's how I ended up:

I was only into the rears.    Five lug pattern M400 chassis Indian D22

Brake shoes: Obsolete.   Found part numbers but no availability.   Will have to send shoes away for re-lining when the opportunity comes.

inside wheel bearing:   NAPA parts 3982-bearing & 3920-race (need both)

Axle seal 33136

Brake wheel cylinder: 37669 (unconfirmed)

Wheel cylinder rebuild kit: 184

And the torqe spec for the lug nuts is 400-500Ft-lbs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  holy crap.

Hose-man, and others.  I just got verified part numbers and accessibility for the parts.  I have a 72 M400 (M375) Chassis on my Cheiftain.
