Turn signal-brake light wiring?

Help-my right turn signal(rear) doesn't work also I have no brake lights. New turn signal switch and it was bad now good.  I have only 6VDC at stop light switch,where could the connector be located?  I'm completely stumped and I was an electrician before retirement i?? :)rotflmao  PM me if you know what I need to look for.  Tks,Ed

Ok,now I have a bad connector in the firewall area.  Cannot reach it to splice around so will rewire fron under the dash.  I hate doing this,it's hard on an old man!  But, this will solve the problem and give me many years of service.
