Can my Refrigerator be run on DC Electric?

Will the refrigerator work on DC power?  I have a switch to change between AC/DC/Propane.

Yes.  There are two way and three way refrigerators.  You have a three way when it runs on either AC or DC electric or propane.  When switched to DC, your refrigerator is supplied with power from your coach battery.

And unless you have an impressive battery bank and/or solar panels, having your fridge run on DC will drain your house batteries quicker than even the furnace fan.  If your alternator effectively charges and keeps up with the demand, driving with it on DC is acceptable.  I leave mine on propane when driving and AC when parked.  Just don't forget to turn it off when gassing up.  Open flame and all that.
