Hot running on grades trick:
Mount a spray bar in front of and above the radiator.  I used3  Drip-Mist small 7 GPH fine spray nozzles to spray onto the radiator core - the evaporative cooling can be equal to 50HP cooler!.
Where does the water come from? Get a frig. types ice maker water line kit and tap into the water under the sink - as if you were going to mount a ice water filter on a home frig.  Anyway, run the nylon line around the edge of the engine compartment opening /dog house and up to a place where you can mount a valve (where you can reach while driving) and then to the spray bar.  NOTE: keep the heat from the nylon line or it can melt!
When you are in a grade area, open a "master valve" under the sink, your SO can do than for you; then when the temp gage climbs more than 3/4 hot - open the spray bar valve.
  It works!
