Why is the Auxillary Battery switch called the MOM switch?

A MOM switch? See, now I have to go and look up the definition of that in the library here somewhere, or just go outside and push it and see what happens!  It's not quite midnight, surely my neighbors won't mind. . .

. . .and if they do, well, I'll snitch the ones with the CHICKENS hidden in her shed to the association. . .and the one with the 'not quite code' shed they wired up. . .anyone remember that old song about the "Harper Valley PTA?"

I had to go (whisper) to that "other site" to their glossary, where there was NO listing for a MOM switch. . .

Then I had to think, are they pulling my leg? Do they know how long it has been since they saw a razor?

That AUX switch can help start the generator in an emergency. Mine sometimes works when the engine is off, sometimes I have to start the main engine.  If I push the switch in and hear a click, I know I dun have to start the main engine, then I just hold it in and push the generator start button and whala!  I have genny power! :)ThmbUp
Grats on finding the fuse panel BTW, I discovered it the same way you did..  By accident..  ;)
BTW, MOM stands for MOMentary... At least, that is what I think I read here somewhere.. Hm?

Keep discovering!!

The 2 positions on the Winnebago Dual Battery switch are labeled "DUAL" and "MOM" so the term "MOM" originated from what does MOM mean and basically stuck.
MOM, AUX Start, Dual Battery switch all refer to the same thing.   They are implemented in different ways depending on RV mfg and year.
BTW - I knew any young lady willing to purchase and dive into one of these beasts has got to have thick skin!  :)  I just wanted to make sure you either had or knew there was a owners manual available for your rig.
