These Dodge heater switch assembly's were a pain! I used to work on a fleet of vehicles and most were Dodge trucks. Saw a LOT of the switchs burn up. Most of the time you could feel it, it just did not feel as crisp between low, med, high settings as it should. Sometimes they felt fine but just stopped working. I have found that most of the time it was either the switch or the resister. The fan will still work on high with a burnt resister unless the wiring burnt.

Normally, Winnebago, actually almost all RV Mfg's, used an aftermarket heater box with fan built in controlled by a Dodge based heater/AC control circuit.  This was because the space inside an RV is much bigger than the cab of a pickup.

Is this particular box with the blower motor the one at the left of my pedals on the drivers side?

Heater box will be on passenger side at their feet.
I have no clue what you are talking about on drivers side.  Need pictures to understand.  Start with the AC/Heat controller on the dash.

With the ignition turned to RUN, turn the blower on high, and set it to defrost, floor, whatever.

Pop your hood, the blower motor is on the extreme passengers side under the hood. Big round thing. Smack it with your fist. If it comes on, either your have a bad connection at the motor itself, or the motor itself is bad. It was a bad connection on mine.

If it's wired like mine, there are two supply circuits to the heater control relay.  High, and the other three.  If dead on all speeds I'd suspect the motor, possible two blown fuses, the fan switch (unlikely if dead on all speeds).

Hi Dave,

Yeah, I see my error on the location, thanks. Took it all apart, and pulled the blower motor; motor can take a lot of power and sucks up many amps and will not run. Ordered the replacement part at the local auto parts store, and it's at the right price.
Resistor pack at the switch seems to be nice and crisp, nothing that's frictionesque or broken feeling as per Rick's suggestion. It's also showing continuity on at least some the selections, so I'm counting on hopefully not needing it, time will tell.

the part number on the blower motor is A.R.A. Made in CANADA, #1120029
replacement:
