440-3 440-1 parts interchangibility

Does anyone know if internals like bearings are different between these two blocks? I'm considering rebuilding the engine my buddy blew up and while it's easy enough to still find parts, they don't differentiate between mh and non-mh applications; in most cases there is one listing for 440 engine bearings. Is this a concern?
