When I changed my bonnet assembly I got from Advance. Anyway I made up a JIG that is a Tee with a gauge in Tee and then it runs out to small hoses to fit where the Main Fuel Filter is behind the Propane Tank. I installed it and set regulator. Then removed it and put Filter back in place and kept as handy to set regulator in future.

Rick,

Did you ever figure out if the holley kit needed the red low pressure spring, or the high pressure spring?

I ended up taking mine apart to realize that the spring was entirely missing!! Would you believe this could be the likely fuel delivery, or vapor locking issue I experience hauling up hills?

The low pressure spring is the one you want. In your case if it is easy or at least feasible to get to the regulator and remove it then I would replace the whole unit, They are not that much. Is it even possible to move the adjuster on there?
