Description: The original, plastic headlight backing assembies were getting brittle, with one having a chunck out of the top edge, so I wanted to replace them with a combination 1973/74 style with the 1974 plastic backing accented with the 1973 aluminum trim rings.  Thanks to Kevin Smith (ClydesdaleKevin) providing the trim rings, I cut the OEM backings to fit inside them and attached them with fiberglass.  I used EDPM window weather stripping around the trim rings to seal them to the body as they could not flush mount.  Works for me!  BTW, yes, those are halogen replacement headlights.
