I can only find 1 - 1/2 inch bore rear brake cyl. for my 1979 M-500. The parts manual shows either 1- 3/8 or 1- 1/2. Before I tear back into this (did bearings not long ago- brakes were fine) I wanted to have correct replacement parts in hand for the weekend. Anyone btdt?

Thanks
JD

John -

Your rear cylinders are 1.375" size on the M500. The 1.5" is strictly used on the M600. Your M500 will have a 14000GVWR - the M600 is 16000 or 16500GVWR.

We offer the cylinders here at our warehouse in Boston. Cost is $45.56 each.

Please see our web site at www.alretta.com

Or call me directly for further information. We have other related parts for
this job, like the seals, spring hardware kit, any bearings, etc. Shoes need
to be custom relined today, no one offers a pre-built shoe anymore.

Hope this clarifies things,

Yours,
