my 74 has a coleman furnace that has a glow coil.  The problem im having is i can light it no problem but the blower stays on and the heat kicks out.  Any suggestions??? Im thinking the thermocoupler might be toast....

Is your fan control on the wall thermostat set to run or automatic? Should be automatic or it will run all the time.

If you do not have that control then it is probably a bad fan relay or fan thermostat.

That's the ticket right there.  There are several, very common problems with furnaces, so Dave put together this awesome, comprehensive tech article which addresses all of them and more!

If you run into any stumbling blocks or need help with it, just ask!

If you need parts for the coleman heater let me know.

Did you clean the burner?

Mine did that. Not Coleman though.  But it was dirty contacts in the thermostat.
