Hello, I'm a new owner of a 1973 Brave D18.  I am changing all the fluids in it and the transmittion fluid is a dark green color.  The transmission seems to be working fine.  In fact, I just drove the motorhome 325 miles in a 107 degree day to bring it home--averaging about 60 mph.  Has anyone seen green trany fluid before?  The trany filter look fine with no trash, and it has an externally mounted cooler so I know it wasn't contaminated by engine coolant.  By the way, I searched "green transmission fluid" and found a reference on wikipedia that said transmition fluid is usually red or green to distinguish it from motor oil, but I've never heard of that before.

Could be raptor blood.   Suppose to make the tranny shift harder.   http://www.partshp.com/supershift.htm
