New remote control antenna, cheap and no hole in the roof !

I just bought a Jack TV antenna head, cost 35.00, One Eagle single wire antenna rotor 70.00, Winegard power plate 25.00  ,because I didn't want to use the 110v/12v power injector for the Jack TV amp. The antenna rotator is 110v but is only 20w at 110. so a small inverter or the gen will run it just fine.


So for 130.00 I have a remote control antenna that doesn't have to be raised or lowered and it works great. Don't have my rotor yet but did set the antenna on the roof today


I will post some pictures when its all done. I also picked up a Naxa 16in widescreen TV 110v/12v  144.00  great little TV with a built in DVD,USB and memory card slot.

Single wire antenna rotator. It uses the antenna cable to do everything but I cant use the antenna feed because they use 18v and the Jack antenna uses 12v. No big deal just need a second coax. The wireless remote controller with the digital readout for location is 110v at 20w. A small inverter will run it on 12v. It is mounted on my luggage rack. I did have to cut a pole stop tab off the unit to mount it there.

simple TV mount lock. I did have to grind the shaft smaller and then put some heat shrink on the tip I ground down.
