Tip for bumper rust

I can't take credit for this.  My bro-in-law gave it to me.  Take steel wool and oil-rust comes right off.  Use plenty of pressure and the rust comes right off!!! On mine I have mostly surface rust and this worked.

I have been using steel wool for that purpose for years on motorcycle rims and the occasional buumper. Make sure you use 0000 steel wool, other wise you will just scratch the chrome. A wad of aluminum foil works well for this purpose as well. Polish with some chrome polish, throw 2 coats of wax on it and it should be good for quite a while.
