Has anyone ever replaced their instrument panel on their 1975 Winnebago? You know after market speedo, water temp, oil pressure, volt meter? Anyone have any thoughts on what is a good make of instrument ? Equus, Auto Meter?  Hm?

Not sure about the other brands but I do not think I would recommend Glowshift.  The backlighiting is too dim to see in the daylight no matter which one of the 7 colors you pick.  Only one that is not difficult to see is the A/F gauge and it's to bright for comfortable nitetime use.  I have to place electrical tape over the digital readout at night and just depend on the outer ring.
For water temp, oil pressure, and tranny temp make sure you get a 270 degree sweep for best accuracy.

I just got a 1974 Titan 21' - none of the gauges worked. I put in a water temp & oil pressure set from EQUUS just to make sure I had oil pressure and didn't overheat on my trip from Las Vegas to Oregon. $35 for 3 gauge set at O'Reilly's Autoparts (didn't hook up the voltmeter) and they work OK.

Once I start reworking this big green box, I'm planning on making a custom digital panel - just for fun!
