Hi there, I had taken a compound wheel to my 86 Chieftain 31 to remove the old factory stripes from it.  Was thinking on running just the 3 stripes down the side of it without the W to match the 3 on the nose.  It's tan with dark brown  stripes on it as I will polish out the tan color to get it back.  Was wondering if anyone sold stripe kits for these, original or aftermarket.

Thanks

I used tremclad paint, just masked them using the outline of the old stripes and applied thin coats of paint with a trim roller until I got the coverage I wanted.  Materials weren't even 20.00 compared to mega bucks for the pinstripping.  Looks great after three years.

You can contact tiinytina via PM.  She has a gal that does all our decal printing and also does custom stripes.  Getting custom stripes will cost you quite a bit more than anything else though.  Quite a bit.
