Hi,

I noticed that my shoreline cord prongs were heavily oxidized and brown as well as my 30amp to 15amp adaptor.  It seemed to be ok when plugged in with low load, but with a larger load, the adapter and plugs would heat up and spark when moved.  I looked at the prongs and noticed a split in them from the way they assembled them, so I used an exacto knife to separate the two 'layers' of each prong.  I then used the exacto to scrape the surfaces clean.  (Most newer prongs don't have this split, they're just one solid prong.)

Now with the highest load, all connections stay cool  Y!

I had noticed similar on our cord end... so bought a really nice heavy duty replacement male end to install (of course I haven't installed it yet  W%) as I only remember when I go to plug her in... one of these days....
