Repairing Spin Welded Fittin on Fresh Water Tank

Like the subject says, my Fresh Water tank is busted.  The "spin welded" fitting where the line that goes to the water pump was busted prior to me taking ownership of the Travel Trailer.  I figure it was busted when someone tried to winterize the TT. 

I don't think I can repair the spin welded fitting but I am not 100% sure.  If I can, I am not even sure what kind of professional would be able to spin weld a new fitting. 

Do any of you know how to repair a fitting like this without spin welding?  I would love to have my fresh water tank back for obvious reasons, but I hate the thought of having to replace the entire tank for a single fitting.  If that is what it takes though, then I will replace the tank when the funds allow it.

spin welding is a form of plastic welding.  You will need to have this plastic welded.  Esentially, the plastic is melted back together.  You do need to determine what type of plastic you have. (white units a typically polyetheylene).   You should be able to call Layton (part of Skyline?) and they can tell you what type of plastic it is.  Auto body repair shops do plastic welding or you can get a do it yourself kit.  You just need the right plastic welding rod.
