Has anyone tried 1 of dodges 47rh or 47re automatic transmission behind a 440 in one of our type of motorhomes?

The 47RH and 47RE were used behind Cummins and V10 engines. They have a unique bolt pattern for mounting and will not interchange with small or big blocks. You could use an adapter but I would stick with a A518! Supposed to be as strong as the 727 But with overdrive! JVC Racing sells an adapter! and some internals are different with the diesel version.

Also for the a518 you need the kit to convert from electronic control to pressure control.

Yes I know Patc has an article about the redo on their page! Just wondering on the strength  of these transmissions?
