Air pump suggestions

I was wondering what you folks recommend as far as having a man/rv portable tire inflator.
My tires say the rec pressure is 100psi, does that even sound right?

My 72 Winnie had a max pressure of 80, I found 50 made a nice ride.    A lot of smaller cheaper compressors brag about being capable of 150 or even 200 psi, but what I found out is they overheat and burn up at higher pressures if you don't let them sit and cool down.  Also it seems once you get past 30psi they slow down painfully slow.   

What I keep on the rig now is a high volume compressor, I bought a cheaper one from Harbor Freight and it does a great job.  Over the years I've used it a lot, it pumps a car tire up in under a few mins.

In 1984 the stock rims have a maximum rating of 85-90 PSI.  I would not push them past 80 PSI

I owned an InterDynamics TruckAir 300psi portable compressor for years. Got it to air up my lawnmower tires, but it ended up being THE compressor I grabbed if I had a tire needing air. Mine lasted for about 12yrs of regular usage... very rugged design for a plastic 12v compressor intended to be a single season throwaway. lol
