I have just had my '72 D22C painted  :) and I have two Winne "eyebrow" decals to put over the front and rear windows.
Problem: I need the installation instructions.  I think I can see how to do this, but don't want to screw it up.

Thanks,
John

Get a good long straight edged plastic squeegee, and as you are applying the decal use it to keep bubbles from forming as you peel and stick. (This is assuming it's a 'peel n stick' decal of course).

Any bubbles close to the edges can, usually, be squeegeed out to the edge, ones in the middle will be more difficult, I find that either cutting a slit or using a needle to put a hole in them, they are easy enough to press down.  If you have a particularly nasty bubble that is big, cutting an X in it and then pressing from the outer edges in usually works well.

Hope that helps a little bit.

You might want to consider a spray bottle with a water soap mix. Spray a mist on and then apply your decal.
