Good Folks - I have a great Brave 22 with the 440 -3 that I love and is in great condition - all original.. It needs a a bit of  TLC and that is my summer project. One concern though is the amount of free play in the steering wheel and this causes some fun in windy conditions. I had a steering shop hone and replace the kingpins and check all the bushings etc as part of a road safety check last year - this helped somehwat but it is still not much fun to drive when you are worried about overcompensating in wind gusts etc. Do these old girls ever travel a stright line or am I going to have to practice my swerving. The only thing else I can think of is to adjust the steering box - is this hard to do or should I take it too the steering and brake shop.

Any advice would be great.

Unfortunately, they are not available, nor were they ever made available.  However...

Here's the method of adjusting the steering box, which will help tremendously, written in easy English because... I did it - LOL!
