89 Chevy 454 on a Chieftain.
Is there a place to attach a vacuum hose to the brake system on the 89 Chieftain, with 454.
I do not see a giant can in front of the brake fluid reservoir??
Also did not find anything that looked to be that part, nor is there any vacuum line going to anything like that??

You should have a hydro boost system. That means that your assist comes from the power steering pump.

If you have a tag axle then that's a different story. If not, then your PS steering pressurizes the brake system which is activated by the pedal movement. There is brake fluid to check like normal so check it also. There's a hydroboost system information area at the top of the Chevy area from Dave.

Thank you, I was just under there, and could not find the dome, but did find power steering line running to it.
One of the things about working on this RV, is that I am getting reacquainted with working on vehicles again.
It is fun!!

Well Jerry, the one thing that helps me understand the drivetrains on the P30 is to remember that its still a 1 ton truck chassis that has been added to. And reading previous post from others.
