Pinion Gear for Power Vent (bathroom)

TWIMC--If you have an 80's model with the electric power b-room vent and you need the small pinion gear (attaches directly to the electric motor) you may have noticed that WINN kept the same part # but changed the part (the newer style gear associated with the part # has a much larger center hole i.e. mounts on a larger motor shaft)--you can buy the whole setup (new motor, gears and bracket) BUT I found a gear that works perfect on the existing "old" smaller style shaft--TRAXXIS #3948--Google it or look on eBay--you can also go to the Traxxis website and do a dealer locator for your area--contact me if you need any more info about installation etc.

My bad..didn't  read your article as close as I should have...My vent is missing a tooth on the driven (plastic) gear..but your information is still very handy..thanks..

I believe you can still get the large gear from a WINN dealer--it was only the small gear that changed!
