I just noticed the other day that the siding on the drivers side of the winny is coming loose in many areas. It isnt damaged any, just loose from whatever it was supposed to be attached to. So my question is, basically what is it attached to and how? It's not something I am going to tackle right away, but just a quick look at it seemed like it wouldnt be too difficult to take the fiberglass (or whatever it is) panel off to reglue it or whatever I need to do... Anyone have any useful info that can help me out?

Here's one method for general fiberglass delamination repair I found on eHow.  It's not realy in-depth but it has some good, basic info:

Go to the Member Area, Resource list and go to the "Fiberglass" link.  You'll find a link to a company which supplies delamination repair kits.  The kits are pretty salty in price but, if you go to the products page, you'll see what's all in them and you may be able to get the stuff on your own for less.  They also have a page of delamination repair photos and you can get a general idea of what the area behind the affected area looks like.

Thank you, mine isnt quite the same, but it must be the same problem, I am guessing. Mine is not bubbled or wrinkled. The only way I can think to describe mine is.. If you hang a piece of wallpaper but only glue the top to the wall. Thats about what my winny looks like. I hope when I get into it, I dont find that the wood or whatever is behind it, is rotten.

I like this link better tho, it says to use construction adhesive.

This project scares the beejeesus out of me. Hubby and I have been talking about taking the whole panel off and re-gluing it. But we are debating, do we take the panel off or try to reach up from underneath the winny to glue it that way
