Remove Black Water & Fresh Water Tank 1975 Winnebago Brave.

  • Shoot I'm not even sure how to ask this question? How do you remove the black water tank in a 1975 Winnebago. More questions to follow depending on the answers. i??

A good place to look is the plumbing section in the Winnebago Coach service manual.  There is quite a detailed description of tank removal and replacement.  Rick

1st make sure its EMPTY !!  disconnect all plumbing incl remove toilet and pipe that toilet bolts to (it unscrews from the tank ) remove mounting bolts . Ill ck for a pic  Frank

Found it on mine they are both mounted together toilet entrance visible at rear of L/S tank also vent pipe on top  Frank

Since i had them out before (i hacksawed the 1 drain pipe & the vent pipe ) Then on reassembly i used available rubber sections with hose clamps made re remove much easier when i replaced both tanks due to repair failed again Old plastic is pretty brittle compared to new stuff  Frank
