Not sure whether I've done anything wrong but I set my profile options to notification of replies etc. but nothing comes through and my profile doesn't record anything as having been registered.  Also whilst I can see a manual "notify" button on each board there isn't one on the individual topics ??

Any ideas ?  Could it be my cookie settings or something like that ?

I've tried using Firefox and Opera browsers.

It's "Global Warming"(c)2001, me....
Have you checked your spam folder? (the email one, not the one where you keep Monty Python Videos) W%

Have you checked the box all the way to the right in the notifications section of your account settings then saving your settings?

Also, I had that enabled once and you get notifications, but have to remember to revisit the board to get new ones.

Yes I checked that (and I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition)

The only boxes I see at the right are the select boxes for "Unnotify", if I check one and save it just unchecks it  i??

Sorry for the late reply on this.

Charter members can get notifications on new topics.
Full and Life members can receive notifications on replies as well.

$5 for a Full Member upgrade.  It'd be the best few Quid you ever spent considering what you get in the Member Area documentation alone.

Some time ago, someone beeched about this...  that it should be free because it's free on most other forums.  Well, I can certainly understand that.  However, considering you don't see any ads on this forum and don't have to pay $40 or more to not see them for just one year, and you get TONS of extras they don't come close to having... all for only $5 for a year.  Anything that will help someone help themselves for so little and financially support the community as well is, in my opinion, a good motivation to do so because everyone benefits!

OK thanks now it all makes sense.

I didn't expect that (OK....enough)

Maybe I'll also go the chassis manual route.
